The program hosts a seminar series "Seminars in Infection & Immunity" in the fall and spring semesters. We also hold annual overnight retreat. We welcome the members' suggestions for events, workshops and special seminars.
News
- Dr. Martin Wiedmann's latest paper on tracing of salmonella outbreaks was featured in the Cornell Chronicle.
- Dr. Craig Altier of Dept. of Population Medicine and Diagnostic Sciences and Dr. Gregory Martin of Boyce Thompson Institute for Plant Research have received a $500K USDA-NIFA grant to investigate Salmonella infection on tomatoes. (read more on the BTI web site)
- Dr. Margaret Bynoe of Dept. of Microbiology & Immunology has been promoted to an Associate Professor with indefinite tenure. To find out about her reserach, click here.
- Dr. Maria Harrison has been named the William H. Crocker Scientist at the Boyce Thompson Institute for Plant Research. (read more on the BTI web site)
- Dr. Dwight Bowman of Dept. of Microbiology & Immunology received a 2011 Kaplan Family Distinguished Faculty Fellows in Service-Learning Award for his project "A Peer-Mentored Service-Learning Wellness Program for Pets of the Underprivileged in New York City".
